A morning at Irving Elementary School
On Wednesday, October 2nd, Coach Hawkins and senior members of the Normal West baseball team started their day at Irving Elementary School. The seniors spoke to the group of boys on how to become good men, sharing experiences from the classroom, baseball field, and life in general. The group then played a little baseball before the start of school.
Coach Hawkins’ 500th Win
Congratulations to Coach Hawkins on reaching a coaching milestone! The Wildcat’s 16-0 victory over Peoria High on Wednesday evening (4/17) gave Coach his 500th career victory spanning 20 seasons at West. And there’s no sign of slowing down…..the march to 600 is well underway!
