WILDCATS lose the game in extra innings.

What a wild game!  Coming from a 9-1 deficit, the WILDCATS score 6 in the 4^th inning and 8 in the 6^th inning.  At the end of the 6th inning, WEST was ahead 15-14.  In the 7^th  the WILDCATS put 2 on the board but Morton scored 3 to push the game into extra innings.  The WILDCATS were unable to score in the 8^th and due to some unfortunate events, Morton scored. 

All nine batters had RBIs!

It was an awesome comeback but a disappointing ending.

The WILDCAT offense and defense played tough throughout much of the game.  In addition to the hits and the fielding, Chris Smiciklas caught three runners trying to steal second!

 The bats stayed hot in the second game and the WILDCATS win the game by the 10-run rule!  WEST batted through the line-up in both the 2^nd and 3^rd innings and batted seven men in both the 1^st and 4^th innings.   Offensive highlight was Reed Rogers two-run HOMERUN in the 3^rd.
