A couple of former Normal West Wildcat baseball alums have found their way into recent news articles.
Randy Kindred, the Sports Editor for The Pantagraph, wrote a nice article about Nate Whitney – a 2000 West graduate who is beginning his 3rd season as the physical therapist for the Chicago Cubs. And with Brock Stewart now in the Cubs organization, the Wildcat connection runs a little deeper in Chicago!
In the January 26th edition of the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Jason Mackey penned an article about Pirates catcher Jacob Stallings. Stallings calls out Jordan Comadena – a 2004 Wildcat alum and current Pirates bullpen catcher – for his role in helping Stallings improve his pitch framing metrics.
Keep up the great work Wildcat baseball alumni!
