On Saturday, April 28^th, the Wildcat Diamond Club hosted the 6^th Annual Dinner/Auction in the Normal West gymnasium with great success!

A great turnout of nearly 300 coaches, parents and supporters raised approximately $11,000 to fund future improvement projects at the Normal West baseball complex.

A special “thank you” to all our donors for their generous contributions of auction items. The players, coaches, parents and fans are extremely grateful for your generous support of the program. For a complete list of donors and vendors who contributed to our event, please see this link.

To plan and execute a successful event like this takes a large, talented and dedicated team. Thank You to the board members who lead/served on the various committees, parent committee members, the Normal West staff, and Dan Faber from the Flanagan High School FFA who cooked our steaks.

The Wildcat Diamond Club’s 6th Annual Dinner/Auction has been planned for Saturday, April 28th.   The event will feature a steak dinner along with both loud and silent auctions to raise money for the Wildcat Baseball program.  The Dinner/Auction is being held at Normal West High School and doors open at 5:00pm.

Featured items auction items include:

• Tickets to the April 29th Eric Church concernt at the US Cellular Colliseum
• MLB ticket packages
• Training packages from Sports Enhancement Center
• IWU and Heartland baseball camp
• Autographed jersey by the Chicago Bulls’ Joakim Noah
• Walt Disney Hopper Passes
• Various hotel overnight stays
• Various restaurant gift certificates

Last year’s banquet raised over $10,000 for the Wildcat Baseball program and helped fund the new concession stand/press box at the Freshmen field as well as a new scoreboard at West Varsity Field.  Tickets are still available.  If interested, please contact Andy Jefferson at 309-846-6250 or maananstal@aol.com or just show up!
