The Wildcat Freshmen dropped a heartbreaker to crosstown rival Normal Community.  Despite jumping out to an early lead and holding most of the game, the Wildcats were not able to stop the Ironmen bats.  The loss drops the Wildcats to 4-6 on the season.

The Wildcat Freshmen dropped a pair in their league opener with Champaign Centennial.  Despite some outstanding play by numerous individuals in both games, the Wildcats were not able to fight back after losing the lead early in both contests.  The loses drop the Wildcats record to 4-5 on the season.

The Wildcat Freshmen dropped a hard fought game to the Peoria Notre Irish at PJHS despite having a slight hitting advantage in the game.  The loss drops the Wildcats to 4-3 on the season.
