Normal West improved to (14-4) with its win over Decatur Eisenhower.  Noah Johnson, Ryan Frye and Reid Birlingmair combined to allow just 2 hits and 1 run.  Johnson had 2 strikeouts, Frye had 4 strikeouts and Birlingmair had 2 strikeouts.  Frye and Johnson both allowed 1 hit each.

Normal West wins 13th game of the season with a 14 – 0 win over Decatur Eisenhower.

 

Mitch Thomas and Steven Lorenz combines to strike out 12 and allow no hits.  Mitch Thomas had 7 strikeouts in 3 innings; Lorenz had 5 in two innings of work.  Seth Wiseman, Steven Lorenz, Jared Graf each contributed two hits, Wiseman had 3 RBI’s, Reid Birlingmiar and Lorenz each had 2 RBI’s.  David Krueger had a double to help the Wildcats score 14 runs and win their 13th game this season.  West is now (13-4).

Normal West suffers loss against Morton. 

 

Normal West allowed 19 hits and 16 runs while scoring just 5 runs on 3 hits.  Defensively the Wildcats had 5 errors and just could not get anything offensively going against the Potters.   Mitch Thomas suffered the loss, Zach Inselmann, Reid Birlingmair and David Krueger all pitched in the six inning game.  Zach Inselmann and Evan Jefferson both had doubles for West.  West is now (12-5)
