The West JV Wildcats improved their record to 8-6 on the season, defeating the Panthers 5-3 on a rainy Tuesday evening in Washington.

Tyler Ott (3 singles, RBI) and Chase Hacker (2 singles) picked up where they left off against Danville, going 3-3 and 2-2, respectively, to lead the Wildcats offense.   Mark Ogden (double), Jake Rutkowski (double), Marti (double), Zack Jones (single, RBI), McCade Brown (sac fly, RBI), Jeremy Fischer (single), and Holden Lueck (RBI) all contributed to West’s most complete performance of the year.

The Wildcats will look to keep their streak alive when they visit Peoria Manual Thursday evening at 4:30pm.
