The Wildcat Freshmen got there second win of the season by shutting out the Pekin Dragons.  Nick Bronson and Evan Mucciolo combined for the no hit victory for the Wildcats.

The Wildcat Freshmen opened the season by splitting a pair with the Central Catholic Saints at McGraw Park.  In the first game the Wildcats jumped out to an early lead and went on to an easy victory.  In the second game the Wildcats got an early lead, but the Saints came back and the game went back and forth with the Saints holding on in the end.

Wildcats shutout Hawks for ninth win of the season.

 

Tanner Rutledge pitched the shutout, going 5 innings giving up 3 hits, 4 strikeouts, 3 walks and allowing no runs.  Reid Birlingmair led the Wildcats with 3 hits (1 double), and 2 RBI’s, Noah Johnson added 2 hits with 4 RBI’s.  David Krueger and Kevin Baar each had two hits.  The Wildcats scored 15 runs on 13 hits.  West is now (9-2) and will be at home again on Wednesday, April 4th against Olympia.
