West Alumni Blake Brown took Michael Wacha DEEP!!

Wildcat alumni Blake Brown (’09) is now in the Atlanta Braves system, but before he turned pro, Blake and his teammates at University of Missouri had great success against the St. Louis Cardinals young ace, Michael Wacha. This story in StlLouisToday.com talks about the Missouri Tigers success against Wacha when he was pitching for Texas A&M, and particularly notes a home run Blake hit off him in a big win. Later in the season, Blake faced him again in the conference tournament with the same result, as told by this story from Texas A&M website.
