Wildcats victorious in home opener!
Normal West won their home opener on Wednesday against the Rock Island Rocks. Mitch Thomas went 5 strong innings allowing only two hits and 1 run striking out 6. Ryan Frye pitched one inning giving up 1 run and 1 hit. David Krueger closed out the win with 2 strikeouts and 1 walk. Evan Jefferson and Steven Lorenz both had 2 hits, Blake Parker added a double as Normal West improved to (2-1) on the season.
