Normal West gets two wins against Champaign Central to up record to (25-8).

Steven Lorenz go the win going 4 1/3 innings allowing 1 run on 4 hits striking out 2.  Noah Johnson got the save, allowing 3 runs on 2 hits and striking out 4 in the first game of a double header at Champaign.  Ryan Frye went 3 for 3 with 2 doubles.  Blake Parker and Noah Johnson both added two hits.

Zach Inselmann pitched 2 solid innings striking out 3, allowing just 1 hit.  Reid Birlingmair pitched 1 inning allowing 3 runs on 1 hit striking out 2.  Tanner Rutledge pitched 1 inning aloowing 1 run on 1 hit and Mitch Thomas pitched 1 inning striking out 1 while allowing no runs.  Blake Parker went 3 for 3 with 2 triples, Ryan Frye went 2 for 2 with a double. Jared Graf had 3 hits including a double.  Noah Johnson and Reid Birlingmair each had two hits.

Normal West is victorious against Decatur MacArthur.

Ryan Frye got West started by hitting a solo home run in the top of the first.  Frye went 2 or 2 with 2 RBI’s.  Adam Hoerner contributed with three hits and an RBI.  Zach Inselmann added a double.  David Krueger pitched 5 innings allowing 3 hits with 3 runs striking out 1.  Inselmann pitched 1 inning striking out 3.  Mitch Thomas closed it out in the seventh striking out 1.  West is now (23-7), West will be in action on Saturday at Champaign Central.

Normal West wins second game against Normal Community.

Reed Rogers pitched a 1 hitter allowing 1 run while striking out 3.  Noah Johnson pitched the final inning striking out all three batters he faced.  Rogers also contributed 2 hits and 2 RBI’s to help his cause.  Evan Jefferson had 2 hits as well.  West is now (22-7).
